In the months leading up to his death, Bruce Lee was working on this definitive study of the Chinese martial arts--collectively known as Kung Fu or Gung Fu. This book has now been edited and is published here for the first time in its entirety. Bruce Lee revolutionized the practice of martial arts and brought them into the modern world--by promoting the idea that students have the right to pick and choose those techniques and training regimens which suit their personal needs and fighting styles. He developed a new method of his own called Jeet Kune Do--combining many elements from different masters and different traditions. This was considered heretical at the time within martial arts circles, where one was expected to study with only a single master--and Lee was the first martial artist to attempt this. Today he is revered as the "father" of many martial arts practices around the world--including Mixed Martial Arts. In addition to presenting the fundamental techniques, mindset and training methods of traditional Chinese martial arts, this martial art treatise explores such esoteric topics as Taoism and Zen as applied to Gung Fu, Eastern and Western fitness regimens and self-defense techniques. Also included is a Gung Fu "scrapbook" of Bruce Lee's anecdotes regarding the history and traditions of the martial arts of China. After Lee's death, his manuscript was completed and edited by martial arts expert John Little in cooperation with the Bruce Lee Estate. This book features an introduction by his wife, Linda Lee Cadwell and a foreword from his close friend and student, Taky Kimura. This Bruce Lee Book is part of the Bruce Lee Library which also features: Bruce Lee: Striking Thoughts Bruce Lee: The Celebrated Life of the Golden Dragon Bruce Lee: Artist of Life Bruce Lee: Letters of the Dragon Bruce Lee: The Art of Expressing the Human Body Bruce Lee: Jeet Kune Do
"In this collection of artful writing by a man dedicated to honest self-expression, we glimpse the private side of Bruce's eloquence as he bares his soul through the art of letter writing." --from the Preface, by Linda Lee Cadwell Bruce Lee Letters of the Dragon is a fascinating glimpse of the private Bruce Lee behind the public image--a man with the patience and concern to dedicate as much effort to crafting a thoughtful personal answer to the letter of a young fan as to those from his old friends and associates; an extremely active man never too busy to make time for an old family friend in need of simple companionship; a man who never wrote without careful thought, and never thought from the head alone, but always from the head and heart together. The letters in this inspiring book trace Bruce Lee's career and development from his decision--made while he was still in secondary school--to move to the U.S. to further his education. Readers will journey with him through the many setbacks, rededicated efforts and triumphs of life that shaped his martial art and humanity, all the way to the last letter he ever composed, just hours before his sudden death. After absorbing the letters in this volume, readers will inevitably find that the private Bruce Lee was every bit as great as the public Bruce Lee. This Bruce Lee Book is part of the Bruce Lee Library which also features: Bruce Lee: Striking Thoughts Bruce Lee: The Celebrated Life of the Golden Dragon Bruce Lee: The Tao of Gung Fu Bruce Lee: Artist of Life Bruce Lee: The Art of Expressing the Human Body Bruce Lee: Jeet Kune Do

His life unfolds as his curiosity builds, with things adding up to more than he ever expected along the way, including interactions with beings many have encountered to date. Zendor wields a sharp intellect and insatiable quest for understanding the weird stuff that happens to him as he questions the nature of reality and his place in it. In this volume he is confronted with several moments of what can only be called 'quantum entanglement' as he journeys down the rabbit hole. He takes the reader on timely explorations of possibility and offers poignant considerations that could affect your life dramatically. Knowing his 'mission/purpose' is to assist in the facilitation of a 'new world order' he continues to probe and prostrate himself before what he trusts as 'Truth' and the parts of himself that begin surfacing to engage the non-linear environments. At times he is just an observer and at others he is a dynamic contributor, but he still grapples with the 'sanity' of these experiences. How does he do it? You'll love how the subtle details evolve. This is a true story, an evolving truth of humanity's evolution and rightful place among the stars as seen through one who is discovering it on the fly. He finds a bridge for science and spirituality, once perceived as a battle between mind and heart. If you have had questions about your own experience or the possibility of extraterrestrial visitors, but don't resonate with the perceptions you've found to date, then this book might help. Zendor will take you down the rabbit hole of quantum entanglement, achieving nirvana along the way and deposit you squarely in the flow of your own contemplations. You might find some answers. No doubt you will explore questions you might not have considered. From readers: This book is a fun ride through metaphysical-land for those who are new to it. Entertaining, enthralling, you can't stop reading it once you get started. If ever you have seen or heard things no one else does and you think you are crazy, think "spiritual" happening instead. For too long we have ignored the inner voices that speak to us and Zen's journey may speak to you as well. Meria Heller - www.meria.net You won't again see yourself or the world in the same way It isn't often you get to review a book by someone you already know, respect - and this respect is based on the results that Zen delivers in the real, concrete world where most of us live. Zen is a perfect combination of can-do problem solver and off-your-radar philosopher in one amazing human being. His book speaks of this world and other worlds with data, experience, insights, and questions, many of which the reader is challenged to answer - or at least ponder for extended periods. Zen does not dispense recipes and firm answers to life's questions. Instead, he invites you to use all six senses and to think. I have not been lucky enough to attend one of his workshops or retreats, yet I am dead sure I would leave with fewer limits to the possibilities in my life. Zen will take you there.
